Overview

Career Services sees the career journey as a part of a student's overall life journey.  The focus has moved from merely being a placement agency to a career development and education center.   Rather than using a "test-and-tell" approach or merely providing a list of careers and/or jobs to choose from, our licensed career counselors discuss and explore in depth all the factors that influence the student's decision. We hope this process of career decision making is a positive experience for your student and that the partnership Rice University shares with parents is strengthened by the service we provide.
